Consent Charity
Consent is a national charity teaching young people and those who work with them about consent. Through delivering workshops directly, or training others in how to teach this sensitive topic, we hope to reduce the incidence of sexual violence in the UK through education.

Services

Direct Workshops
If you want students or young people to receive a workshop or sequence of workshops get in touch. One of our staff or volunteers can come down, and do talks tailor made to your needs on a variety of topics. From basic ideas of bodily autonomy and the need to ask for consent, through to the bystander effect and more institutional change, we can provide workshops for a range of ages and knowledge levels.

Training Trainers
This is the bulk of what our charity does. Research shows that young people are far more likely to listen to other young people when it comes to sex. So we have developed, in concert with Rape Crisis UK, a two day training program for university or college students. This will allow them to confidently deliver sexual consent workshops to their peers.

Consultancy
There are a multitude of arenas in which sexual consent is currently being explored. We have helped everyone from feminists to fraternities discuss these issues, and also have experience with both television and stage script editors who want further guidance when communicating with young people. If your institution wants any sort of advice, do not hesitate to reach out.
Testimonies
Consent not only helped reframe these issues in a way that helped everyone get on board, but also provided numerous concrete examples that we could act on. I’m so glad that we had this talk today!
― Jessica, university student at Liverpool
The training we received was thoughtful and well presented. The two days set me up so that I was confident to deliver the workshops. I now really enjoy giving them, it feels good.
― Jacob, Consent Workshop Coordinator, Manchester Metropolitan University
